Biographical Information
David Lowe is an executive director of Enterprise Platform Services for Sony Pictures Entertainment, a global motion picture, home video, television production and distribution organization. The Enterprise Platform Services team is responsible for 24×7 support activities for all application hosting and platform support services. The technologies and services supported include J2EE/.NET application and web hosting, relational database management systems, reporting and analytical analysis, identity management services, content management repository, enterprise application integration, and data warehouse systems. He has over 20 years of comprehensive IT background and expertise in the areas of enterprise architecture design, systems implementation/administration, and technical project management. Prior to his entertainment industry experience, he has held various managerial or technical lead positions in the engineering, legal, consulting, music, and academic institutions.
David is currently an active member of the Los Angeles Chapter of Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) and has helped facilitate the chapter’s annual symposium for the last four years. He earned his BS degree in Applied Mathematics from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and his MBA from University of Southern California (USC). In addition, David holds current certifications in Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM), and Project Management Professional (PMP).
